You don’t have to sleep train
Infant Sleep Foundations: Navigating the First Year
What if I told you your family could get more sleep without ever sacrificing responsiveness to your child’s needs?
What if I told you it’s possible to support your deepest intuition in wanting to be there for your child, while still setting them up with healthy sleep foundations? Imagine what it would look like to find joy and contentment in parenthood and ditch the stress about sleep, even while responding to your child’s needs at all hours of the day (and night).
There is so much information out there about how our children should be sleeping, and I’m here to tell you that most of it is just plain wrong. Most mainstream sleep training techniques use non-responsive, sleep training techniques to change our child’s behavior (crying & signaling) without looking at the why behind the behaviors. These techniques are often in direct opposition to what feels right to you, as a parent, and I have news for you: They don’t actually improve your child’s sleep at all! Research shows that sleep trained babies wake up at night just as much as non-sleep trained babies.
Non-responsive sleep training is a bandaid approach that just doesn’t feel good to many parents. You have other options.
This course was born out of my own experience:
Struggling as an exhausted first-time mom to “figure out” how to get my baby to sleep and only hearing about one solution everyone talked about: sleep training. I knew there had to be more choices, and that’s when I discovered the principles I set forth in this holistic, respectful sleep support.
In this self-paced online course, I help you:
Optimize sleep for the entire family in a way that aligns with your intuition.
Recognize your unique child’s needs and develop realistic sleep expectations.
Learn about the countless factors that impact sleep including: baby’s temperament, the environment, nutritional needs, developmental milestones, and more.
Set your baby up with healthy sleep foundations and respectfully shift the method you use to support your baby if it no longer works for your family.

This Course IS:
- for parents of infants ages 0-12 months who feel that conventional non-responsive sleep training doesn’t align with their intuition, but want evidence-based information about biological sleep.
- for parents just like you who want to more deeply understand their baby and address underlying sleep issues in a way that feels good.
- for parents who want to break through the current infant sleep training paradigm and find joy, contentment, confidence, and freedom in parenting according to their intuition, while fostering a deeper sense of connection with their child.
- is for parents who want to learn how to get more sleep for the entire family, while meeting their children’s needs.
This Course is NOT:
- A quick fix or a sleep training approach. Sure, some sleep training plans might promise your baby to sleep through the night by 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 3 days after starting the program, but these plans are only band-aids and never actually address any underlying issues.
- A "No Cry" Approach. We value emotion and understand that children’s emotions are their own. We cannot control their crying, but we can offer support and help them to co-regulate.
- A “one size fits all” approach. Your baby, like everyone else, is a unique individual, with needs. In this course, I will teach you how to better understand your baby’s needs and make choices that work for the entire family.
- A guarantee that your baby will sleep peacefully from 7pm-7am every single night through fireworks, dog barks, or older siblings. Babies aren’t robots- they are just like us in that sometimes, sleep disruptions happen for a variety of reasons! This course will help you prevent many factors that disrupt sleep, but sometimes life happens!
Kind Words from Parents
- Jessica
"This course helped me feel empowered in my parenting choices. I feel so much more educated about normal baby sleep and it has helped me be more supportive to my 8 month old during challenging moments. I wish every new mother could be gifted with this course and the powerful information that comes along with it. Society makes us feel like our babies are broken or there is something wrong, and I think the mere understanding that what is occurring is normal has lifted 100lbs of stress off my shoulders. I can't thank you enough for putting a course like this together."

"I highly recommend Taylor’s gentle sleep course! The thing I regret most is not having this information sooner! It could have saved me years of anxiety surrounding my son’s sleep."
"I love that it fully supports my instincts and my attachment-parenting approach. It offers realistic expectations on baby sleep and reassured me that what I went through is normal and eased a lot of my stress. If you are looking for guidance on getting more sleep for both you and your baby, while preserving your precious relationship with your little one, this course is the answer!"
