Most mainstream sleep training techniques use non-responsive, sleep training techniques to change our child’s behavior (crying & signaling) without looking at the why behind the behaviors. These techniques are often in direct opposition to what feels right to you, as a parent, and I have news for you: They don’t actually improve your child’s sleep at all! Research shows that sleep trained babies wake up at night just as much as non-sleep trained babies. 

Non-responsive sleep training is a bandaid approach that just doesn’t feel good to many parents. You have other options.
